Within the Church Community of The Sacred Heart, many societies and organisations are actively involved and most need willing participants to do the share of the apostolic works. Important fields of action are - the family, our youth, and issues on the social, national and international levels. Listed below are some associated charities.

Catholic Disability Fellowship

This Fellowship raises awareness in Parishes of people of all ages with disabilities. They are hoping to be able to encourage the appointment of representatives at each church in the diocese. They also help to support individuals in need.

In our social arena the apostolate is to promote a Christian spirit into the mentality, customs, laws and structures of the community in which we live. Through duty and responsibility we can complement the testimony of life with the testimony of the word.
